Our purpose is to educate, inspire, and empower women, minorities, and those with mental illnesses.
- To use our website to consistently post articles that educate our audience on important issues (Wake Up).
- To use or social media platform to inspire our audience to be their true selves without fear of judgement (Glow Up).
- To use our voice to empower our audience to effect a change in this world (Rise Up).
To create a world where the following exists
- Everyone is educated about life, relationships, and health (An awakening).
- Mental health is understood, accepted, and stigma free (A Glow)
- Empowered people stand up for what’s right and empower others to do the same (An Uprising)
What Personal Data We Collect
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who has access to your data
Mish Speaks Truth does not share your data or information with anyone. Mish Speaks Truth are the only owners of the information collected on this site.
The only information that we are able to obtain is the information that you voluntarily provide to us via contact forms, surveys, email or any other direct form of contact from you.
The information collected on Mish Speaks Truth will be used to respond to you in regards to any reason you have contacted us (e.g. purchases of apparel or products, questions, topic requests, etc.)
We do not share you information with anyone outside of Mish Speaks Truth unless it is necessary to fulfill a request from you (e.g. ship an order)
Mish Speaks Truth may send you emails in the future to inform you of the happenings within the organization. These emails are sent through MailChimp. You have the ability to unsubscribe from these emails in your email if you wish not to be contacted.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

As previously mentioned, your contact information may be used to send you emails or fulfill any requests that you have made (e.g. purchases and product deliveries). If you wish to unsubscribe from our email list, you can do so by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please use the subject heading “Unsubscribe”.
How we protect your data
Your data is only accessible by Mish Speaks Truth team. Any information stored on business computers would be stored on computers that are password protected.
